Nature lover? Archaeologist in training? Connoisseurs of good times? This is your Adventure Tour;  a guided excursion led by native experts, providing real cultural immersion. Enjoy this Belizean adventure package for seven days and six nights of exhilarating exploration including tropical rain-forest teaming with exotic species, exciting Mayan archaeological sites, waterfalls, water-filled caves and internationally known tropical wildlife sanctuaries. Learn from the locals about the mosaic culture of Maya, Garifuna, Creole and British as you experience sights such as the world’s second largest barrier reef and Belize’s internationally known tropical wildlife sanctuaries.

Rooms are double occupancy. We may have a limited number of private rooms (for an additional fee). First meal of the day is dinner on the date of arrival and all meals daily thereafter except on the date of departure, only breakfast is served. Breakfast is served at 7am, departures are at 8am daily.

DAY 1:
Upon arrival to the village of Crooked Tree, guests will spend the evening exploring the village. The village is the home of Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary, consisting of creeks, lagoons, and pine savannas, is lauded by the Belize Audubon Society, and contains a plethora of migratory birds passing through annually. The sanctuary protects endangered species such as the Central American River Turtle, Mexican Black Howler Monkey, Yellow Headed Parrot and the rare Jabiru stork.
Overnight accomodations in the village of Crooked Tree.
DAY 2:
Travel from Crooked Tree to the village of Carmelita, then up the New River by boat where you will see colorful fowl, freshwater crocs, dense tropical vegetation and Spider monkeys. Lamanai, submerged crocodile in Maya, is host to a Mesoamerican archaeological site, once a significant city of the Mayan civilization.Return to Crooked Tree for overnight accommodations.
DAY 3:

The destination is Mayan Sky Canopy Tour, located at the Placencia Junction. Here you will experience the thrill of ziplining through the rainforest canopy, with a birds-eye view of the Stann Creek River. Panoramic vistas from 11 decks and 7 lines, are spectacular. You may catch a glimpse of many exotic birds including the endangered Scarlet Macaw. After experiencing the scenic Stann Creek River from above, the tour will continue with river tubing down the rapids for approximately two miles of natural beauty and splendor.

DAY 4:

The morning destination is to Angel Falls Extreme Adventures. Here you will take on the challenge of waterfall rappelling. The tour starts with a 35 minute breathtaking hike through the lush rainforest to the top of the falls while learning about the natural habitat along the way. You will rappel 425 feet down the waterfall, enjoying the magnificent pool at the bottom. The days excitement culminates with cave tubing, surrounded by an amazing array of stalactite and stalagmites.

DAY 5:

The days adventure starts with a morning departure from the Cayo district to the Caye of San Pedro where crystal clear warm water awaits. The barrier reef provides the perfect conditions for snorkeling and sea trekking. An amazing diverse marine life of colorful tropical fish of every size and stunning coral will be the backdrop of this aquatic escapade.

Evening enjoyment of Caye nightlife as well as overnight accommodations.

DAY 6:

Another day of aquatic fun. Spend the day exploring the keys, inclusive of water activities such as kayaking and paddle boarding.

DAY 7:
Transportation to the mainland airport for departure.

This was the best tour I have been on in a long time. I fully enjoyed the scuba diving as well as the zip lining through the forest. I will be sure to tell my friends!
